MatesLab

Description

The MatesLab Hackspace was formed in late 2009 as a place were its members could share their passion about technology and computers, a place to create things, play, learn and have fun.
It was created after learning about other hackspaces arround the world. We quickly realize that we were looking for this type of place. We are a group of passionate friends about making stuff and technology.

Our main goal is to be a hackspace, that is, to maintain a place were people can gather and enjoy to play, hack and create. Having a common place is paramount to the activity, were we talk, share, plan and have fun together.

We consider the hacking activities as in its original conception. A hacker is, for us, everyone who passionately transcends the limits of its discipline, creating re-creating, modifying playing, building, co-building, making up, etc.

We also have as policy to freely educate everyone that wants to learn. Access to education in the Mateslab is free.
